Co-founder of civic-minded technology innovation group for the South Side of Chicago. Partnered with community stakeholders to recruit nine public and nonprofit organizations to participate in first-ever South Side civic hackathon.

Winter 2015

A multi-label classification application using natural language processing, random forests, multilinear regression, and SGD to classify a policy issue based on text.

Neighborhood Match

Spring 2015

A neighborhood recommendation application for expanding small businesses. Accepted for the Social New Venture Challenge at Booth. Developed a matching and ranking algorithm that combines multiple data sources, and displays a geographic region based on user inputs.
